Henley Synchro ClubI initially went to Ashley 9 months ago to improve my personal fitness and strength in order to help me cope with the daily demands of caring for my severely disabled 17 year old son. Ashley has calmly encouraged, developed and focused me, both physically and mentally, to the extent that I feel I can handle anything! Because my training sessions with Ashley made me feel fantastic and everyone was noticing the changes in my body, my daughter and my boyfriend have also joined the ADM “feel good” bandwagon. I coach at the Henley Synchro Club and in May the older girls decided that they wanted to enter the Recreational National Championships held in December. We are a very social club and the important details like the epic music, sparkly costumes and weekend outfits were decided by the girls almost immediately! However I felt that the girls needed a bit more strength, stamina and flexibility. Whilst talking about our plans with Ashley he suggested land training sessions to improve their swimming skills as well as concentrating on team building. They have not looked back – I think they have surprised themselves and me! Ashley’s outdoor sessions with them are a mixture of circuit training, runs and group exercises. The mood is serious yet fun and the result of these weekly workouts is increasing their already strong team bond and their swimming in the routine.I can’t thank Ashley enough for all the positive energy that he has brought out in me and the girls. Ashley is truly a remarkable personal trainer – he looks after the heart, body and mind!
